William N. Hudson Jr., Founder
Bill is the founder of Hudson Advisor Services, Inc. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of the Investment Services Division at Marine Midland Bank (now HSBC Bank, USA), where he oversaw estate, trust, and investment management services. Earlier in his career, he held the role of Division Executive for the bank’s Municipal Securities and Corporate Banking Division in Western New York.
Bill has a long history of active involvement in various boards and committees. He currently serves as a board member of Exxpress Tire and as Treasurer and Investment Committee Chairman for the VNA and Hospice Foundation in Vero Beach, Florida. His previous leadership roles include Trustee of the Buffalo Chapter of the American Red Cross, Commissioner of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) and Chairman of the Aviation Committee, and board member, Treasurer, and Investment Committee Chairman for the Humane Society of Vero Beach. He has also been a Trustee and Endowment Committee Chairman at the Nichols School, Trustee of the Park School, Trustee of the Buffalo State College Foundation, and Director of Nova Casualty Insurance Company.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance from the University of Florida. He is a graduate of both the Investment Banking Institute and the National School of Bank Investments. A veteran, Bill served as a Captain and helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps during the Vietnam War.
He and his wife, Frances, split their time between Vero Beach, Florida, and Williamsville, New York.
