William N. Hudson Jr., Founder

Bill is the founder of Hudson Advisor Services, Inc. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of the Investment Services Division at Marine Midland Bank (now HSBC Bank, USA), where he oversaw estate, trust, and investment management services. Earlier in his career, he held the role of Division Executive for the bank’s Municipal Securities and Corporate Banking Division in Western New York.

Bill has a long history of active involvement in various boards and committees. He currently serves as a board member of Exxpress Tire and as Treasurer and Investment Committee Chairman for the VNA and Hospice Foundation in Vero Beach, Florida. His previous leadership roles include Trustee of the Buffalo Chapter of the American Red Cross, Commissioner of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) and Chairman of the Aviation Committee, and board member, Treasurer, and Investment Committee Chairman for the Humane Society of Vero Beach. He has also been a Trustee and Endowment Committee Chairman at the Nichols School, Trustee of the Park School, Trustee of the Buffalo State College Foundation, and Director of Nova Casualty Insurance Company.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance from the University of Florida. He is a graduate of both the Investment Banking Institute and the National School of Bank Investments. A veteran, Bill served as a Captain and helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps during the Vietnam War.

He and his wife, Frances, split their time between Vero Beach, Florida, and Williamsville, New York.

William N. Hudson, III CFP (R) President, Principal & Co-Chief Investment Officer

Bill holds an M.B.A. with a specialization in Finance and Telecommunications from the University of Miami, graduating in 2000 with an Award of Academic Merit. He earned a B.A. in Political Science with a Minor in Economics from Denison University in 1996. Additionally, Bill holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University and has earned the prestigious CFP® designation.

At Hudson Advisors, Bill provides comprehensive portfolio management and financial planning services to clients. He also supports the firm’s operations through sales, trading, marketing, and operational expertise. Prior to pursuing his graduate education, Bill gained valuable industry experience at Franklin Templeton, a prominent mutual fund company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. With over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, Bill brings a wealth of knowledge and a client-focused approach to his work.

Bill balances his professional responsibilities with family life, spending time with his two daughters and dividing his time between the Washington, D.C. area and Hudson Advisors’ main office in Buffalo. In his spare time, he enjoys playing ice hockey and soccer and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.

Jeremy C. Hudson, Principal & Co-Chief Investment Officer

Jeremy brings over 25 years of industry experience to his role at Hudson Advisors, where he works closely with clients to understand their financial and life goals. He formulates customized investment plans designed to achieve those objectives while providing peace of mind. As part of this process, Jeremy coordinates with clients’ attorneys and accountants to centralize and streamline the execution of comprehensive financial plans.
As an active member of Hudson’s Investment Committee, Jeremy specializes in private and alternative investments. He describes investment planning as a rewarding “puzzle” that combines his analytical skills with his passion for delivering safe and steady returns. His extensive expertise ensures that each client’s portfolio is tailored to their unique needs, risk tolerance, and financial goals.

Hudson Advisors operates as a multifamily office, offering highly customized investment strategies. Jeremy’s approach is firmly rooted in his fiduciary duty, which he regards as the foundation of his client relationships.

Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Since the start of his career, he has been dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial and life aspirations. At Hudson Advisors, he oversees daily client service and portfolio administration while also serving as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer, ensuring regulatory and procedural adherence.

Jeremy is also deeply committed to giving back to his community. He believes that contributing time and expertise to meaningful causes is essential to personal and professional fulfillment. His community involvement includes:

Evan J. Coppola, Principal & Co-Chief Investment Officer

Evan serves as an investment analyst and operations manager for Hudson Evan serves as Co-Managing Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Hudson Advisors. He takes pride in collaborating with clients to help them achieve their financial goals while safeguarding their financial well-being. Committed to precision and excellence, Evan ensures that clients’ financial data is accurate, effectively organized, and optimized for both client success and the Hudson Advisors team.

In his role, Evan supports client relationships by working closely with Hudson’s Investment Committee to develop and implement tailored investment strategies. Leveraging his extensive knowledge of investments and markets, he reviews and maintains client portfolios with a focus on tax efficiency, alignment with individual risk profiles, liquidity requirements, and long-term objectives.

Evan began his career at Hudson Advisors as an investment analyst while completing his studies at Canisius College. After graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, he officially joined the team. He later earned an MBA in Financial Services from Canisius College, further honing his expertise in investment and financial planning. Today, Evan works with Hudson Advisors’ high-net-worth clients, providing personalized investment solutions that address diverse goals and aspirations.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Evan enjoys fishing in Buffalo’s rivers and on Lake Erie. When he’s not near the water, he can often be found exploring Buffalo’s museums or immersing himself in reading about investing, technology, and history.

Michael P. McGee, CTFA, Managing Director & Private Wealth Advisor

Prior to joining Hudson, Mike held leadership positions at renowned financial institutions including Wilmington Trust, Wachovia, PNC, and most recently, Morgan Stanley. His expertise in managing complex client portfolios and delivering personalized financial solutions has earned him a reputation as a trusted advisor.

Mike’s commitment to community service extends beyond his professional endeavors. He actively serves on local boards such as the United Way, VNA Hospice, VNA Foundation, and Children’s Home Society, often contributing his financial acumen to these organizations.

Outside of work, Mike is a devoted family man. He’s been married to his wife, Susan, for 36 years, and together they have one child, Lindsey. In his spare time, Mike enjoys pursuing his passions. A lifelong musician, he has spent countless hours performing on stage. He’s also a dedicated sports enthusiast, cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Philadelphia Flyers. And when the opportunity arises, Mike can often be found enjoying a relaxing day of fishing.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Salisbury University and an MBA in Business Management from the Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University.

David B. Burrows, Private Wealth Advisor

David joined Hudson Advisor Services, Inc. in 2003 after working for Goldman Sachs, where he was Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer for the Goldman Sachs Trust Company. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he was a Managing Director in the Investment Management Division of J.P. Morgan and helped individuals and families with their investments as well as their trust and financial planning. During a career spanning 30 years in financial services, David has lived and worked in France, Belgium, Singapore and Malaysia and has had responsibilities spanning banking, securities and project finance. He graduated from Columbia University in New York and has been a Co-Chairman of the American Banking Association Trust and Private Banking Committee.

David is a trustee and treasurer of the Winston Churchill Foundation of the United States. He and his wife Nanette have two daughters and live in Greenwich, Connecticut and Vero Beach, Florida.

Chloe E. O’Loughlin-Coppola, Operations Officer

Chloe plays a vital role in the Hudson Advisors team, overseeing operations, administrative duties, accounts payable, and client service relations. She is responsible for handling various client requests daily, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and organization. She also collaborates with clients’ accountants to prepare tax payments and collect tax information to ensure a smooth tax season. Additionally, she assists our compliance officer with effective compliance monitoring. Before joining our firm, Chloe gained valuable experience as an Account Manager and Accounts Payable Administrator at another Registered Investment Advisor. She leverages her background in customer service to maintain high quality client relationships.

Outside of work, Chloe likes to read, cook, travel, and spend time with her family and dogs.

Heather F. Hudson, Operations Associate

Heather assists with administrative and compliance duties at Hudson Capital Advisory, Inc. Recently she has taken on increased client service responsibilities for gathering and organizing certain necessary records and documents, monthly and quarterly statements, reports, trade blotters, compliance documents, calendars, and for performing regular quality checks. She has also performed these duties at Hudson Advisor Servies, Inc. since 2012.

She has previous experience as an administrator and client service representative for an investment advisory firm and as a compliance assistant for various customs brokerage firms in New York City and Chicago.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Denison University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Harrington Institute of Interior Design. She also studied in Spain at New York University.

Heather resides in Chicago; but loves spending time in Buffalo and visits frequently. She has two children and loves spending time outdoors, interior design, cooking, reading, and substitute teaching. She also loves volunteering in the community with her yellow lab Gracie for Healing Hearts Comfort Dogs.
